Each year the renowned inner west Strathfield Symphony Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Dr Sadaharu Muramatsu, donate their time for a fundraising benefit concert for the Survivorship Centre. The concert is always of a very high standard and for many may be the first time they have listened live to a 60-piece orchestra.
Funds raised are used to extend the programs run in the Survivorship Cottage and Survivorship Gym. Cancer survivors can take part in Medical Qigong, pilates, yoga, walking groups and have a tailored exercise program designed for them by the exercise physiologists.
